Surrounded by family, William “Bill” Eugene Shores Jr., 70, passed away on November 19, 2018, at his residence in Hemet, California. Bill was born on April 19, 1948, in Kansas City, Missouri, to his late father William Eugene Shores Sr., and late mother Rebecca (Naone) Shores.
Bill was raised in Hauula, HI and graduated from Kahuku High School in 1967. He married the love of his life Brenda (Moeller) Shores, on June 4, 1970 and spent forty-eight wonderful years. Together they raised three amazing sons, William Shores III, Robert Shores, and Bradlee Shores. Bill was an amazing loving, giving, humble, family man who everyone loved and adored. His grandkids were his priority and he would have done anything to protect them. Bill enjoyed being around his family and friends as well as working on his home and gardening. As a heavy equipment operator, Bill was a member of Operating Engineers Local 12 Union for over 30 years.
Bill is survived by his beautiful wife, Brenda, his sons William “Billy” Shores III (Melani), Robert Shores (Kristie), and Bradlee (Rikki), his 9 grandchildren and 2 “hanai” (adopted) grandchildren. Bill is also survived by his sisters, Lorna, Wilma, Wendy, Susan, Dorothy, and Mary as well as his brother Robert and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Brenda, two brothers, Thomas and Richard Shores.
He was an extraordinary father, husband, and grandfather who will truly be missed.
